Keyboard Kids is an introduction to learning the piano and is written specifically for the young child, ages 6 to 8. The Keyboard Kids program is an excellent starting point for the young child who is not sure that piano is his/her instrument of choice. In a group setting of 2 to 4 children, Keyboard Kids is a fun way to learn how to play the piano.

All children who participate in the Keyboard Kids class will have their own individual keyboard to play on. You won’t need to bring a keyboard to class. At the end of the session, the last five minutes is used for family to check the progress of their child and to receive instructions for homework.

The pace of Keyboard Kids is slower compared to private instruction, insuring that all who participate can achieve success. The only requirements for participating in Keyboard Kids is a piano or full size keyboard at home for practice. For those who like learning in a group setting, a second, third, and fourth level of Keyboard Kids may be offered.
